Hip Specialities – Dr Smith completed a fellowship in hip surgery in Australia and performed annually more than a 100 joint replacement surgeries while working there as a consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon. He is up to date with all the latest technology and approaches in hip replacement surgery focusing on the young and old patient.

Other conditions that may affect the hip joint includes labral tears, ligament sprains, cartilage injuries and joint swelling. He has a strong back ground in the treatment of sports injuries around the hip joint completing a Masters degree in Sports Medicine at the University of London.
